Is firewood included?
Yes. The wood is in the chest bench in the changing room.
Is the sauna warm when I arrive?
No. You light the stove yourself, which keeps the price down.
Is there a shower?
No. There is a changing room and clean, fresh seawater right outside the door.
Can we have the sauna to ourselves?
Yes. Book all 12 places on one session. With a 12-session card it costs NOK 950, much less than paying per place.
Do I have to clean up?
Yes. Leave the sauna as you found it: sweep the water on the floor out the main door and wash the benches. Green soap and a brush are ready.
I didn’t get my code. What do I do?
Check your spam folder first; the code may have ended up there. If you can’t find it, ask us and we will send a new one.
How long is a session?
Two hours, heating-up included. The earliest sessions last three hours.
How does the lock work?
After booking you receive a code that opens the digital padlock on the outer door. Leave the padlock open while you are inside, and lock up with it when you leave.
What is the age limit?
From 16 you can use the sauna on your own. Under 16, you come with an adult over 18.
Who runs Langevåg Sauna?
Bømlo IL, a non-profit sports club, owns and runs the sauna together with Bømlo Båtlag, the local boat club. The surplus goes to the volunteer clubs, for the benefit of the community.
How do I book?
Pick a session under “Available sessions” and press “Book”. Fill in the form and pay. After payment you receive the code.

The terms are only available in Norwegian. The terms of sale and privacy policy come from the old website and will be updated before launch.
I Langevåg Sauna står fellesskap og respektfull bruk i sentrum. For å sikre at alle får ei god oppleving, ber me om at du følger desse reglane:
- For å halde saunaen i ein triveleg tilstand, ber me alle brukarar om å rydde opp etter seg, slik at saunaen er like rein og fin som då du kom.
- Alkohol er ikkje tillatt på eller rundt saunaområdet, i samsvar med gjeldande lovverk.
- Når saunaen delast med andre, vis omsyn ved å ikkje oppta meir plass enn nødvendig, slik at alle får plass til å slappe av.
- Berre betalande gjester har tilgang til saunaen. Det er ikkje tillatt å sleppe inn uvedkommande.
- For å bevare eit behageleg innemiljø, ber me om at mat og snacks ikkje blir medbrakt inn i saunaområdet.
- Det er berre tillatt å bruke reint, ublanda vatn på varmasteinane for å lage damp.
- Ver vennleg og vis omsyn til andre og området rundt saunaen, slik at alle kan ha ei triveleg oppleving ved sjøkanten.
