A session lasts two hours, heating-up included. The sauna is cold when you arrive, and you light the stove yourself.

A warm winter ahead
Langevåg Sauna is a new gathering place for body and soul. Bømlo Idrettslag and Bømlo Båtlag built it for health, wellbeing and community.
Find calm in the heat, a fresh dip in the sea and new friends, all year round. The surplus goes back to the community through volunteer work and local projects.

Prices
NOK 70–140 per place. Mornings cost least and weekends most, and children pay less.
Children under 16 come with an adult over 18.

The whole sauna
Book all 12 places on one session with a 12-session card: NOK 950. Single places on a day session cost NOK 1,320.

How it works
- Book and pay. After payment you receive a code for the lock.
- Unlock. The code opens the digital padlock on the outer door. Leave it hanging open while you are inside, and lock up with it when you leave.
- Light the stove. Firewood is in the chest bench in the changing room, and it is included in the price.
- Into the sea. The ladder goes straight down from the floating pier. There is a changing room, but no shower.
- Tidy up. Sweep the water on the floor out the door and wash the benches. Green soap and a brush are ready.
From 16 you can use the sauna on your own. Under 16, you come with an adult over 18.
Monday and Thursday 17:00–19:00 the sauna is closed for cleaning and maintenance.

Is the sauna warm when I arrive?
No. You light the stove yourself, which keeps the price down.
Is there a shower?
No. There is a changing room and clean, fresh seawater right outside the door.
I didn’t get my code. What do I do?
Check your spam folder first; the code may have ended up there. If you can’t find it, ask us and we will send a new one.
